Our Pastors
Jake and Nicole have been married since 2009 and have a son and daughter whom they love raising in the House of God. The Sweetman family is characterized by persistent generosity, firm loyalty, and genuine joy and integrity.
They launched Cathedral, formerly C3 Los Angeles, in 2015 and have faithfully led the church with vision and joy since. Pastor Jake is a gifted teacher with a passion for theology and a desire for believers to discover and develop their spiritual gifts. Pastor Nicole is a poetic speaker with a prophetic gift who leads with vulnerability and a passion to see people grow into who God has created them to be. Their desire through Cathedral is to build a church filled with disciples of Jesus who walk in the truth of the scriptures, by the power of the Spirit, for the sake of God's love.
Pastor Jake is the co-host of the Good Theology Podcast, alongside Dr. David Campbell. With new episodes out every month, they help Christians confidently stay true to historic Christian Orthodoxy.
