House
Offering
In the past
Previously known as “Vision Builders”, House Offering has been our annual event to reflect on God’s past works, cast vision for the future, and contribute financially to make it a reality.
In the spring of 2023, Vision Builders supported outreach efforts including “Vacation Bible Schools” in Los Angeles and Nashville, student and teacher supply drives, and partnerships with persecuted churches in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Russia and Ukraine, and collaborated to fight sex trafficking with Exodus Cry.
We also invested into our South Bay building with a new LED screen and set aside funds for future church properties.
This year
This year, we're reimagining this pivotal moment in our calendar. While Vision Builders emphasized projects, House Offering is about preparation. As Cathedral, our mission is clearer than ever: to diligently cultivate a community centered on worship, discipleship, and mission. As we do this, we trust God to open significant doors for our future. We embrace the truth Jesus taught, that those who are faithful with little will be entrusted with much.
So as we enter this season of giving, our aim is that we’d each bring an offering that positions us to pursue the opportunities for expansion and greater impact God will bring. We sense an apostolic grace upon our church, and it moves us to envision the planting of more Cathedral locations across Southern California and beyond. We believe God has ordained specific properties for us to own, allowing us to plant deeper into the places we are called to serve. We anticipate God’s call to further extend our reach into new places because the local church is still His plan to reach the world with the redemptive power of the gospel. We trust His faithfulness enough to partner and prepare now for what is to come.
